These Subscription and Purchase Terms describe the in-app purchases available in the PlanToTrip iOS application and how billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled.
1. Available Products
PlanToTrip Pro Lifetime — A one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase priced at $79.99 USD (price may vary by region per Apple’s storefront equivalencies). Provides permanent unlock of Pro features on all Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
If subscription products are added in a future update, they will be listed here with their billing period, price, and auto-renewal terms.
2. Free Tier
PlanToTrip is free to download and use without any purchase. The free tier includes:
- Micro and small trips
- Basic AI planning features
- Calendar awareness
- iCloud sync
No credit card or account is required to use the free tier.
3. How Billing Works
All purchases are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. PlanToTrip does not directly process or store payment card information.
4. Auto-Renewal (subscriptions only)
If subscription products are offered:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the published renewal price.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID account settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
The PlanToTrip Pro Lifetime product is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
5. Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall the app or sign into a new device with the same Apple ID, you can restore your previous purchases by tapping Restore Purchases on the paywall screen.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Refund eligibility for in-app purchases is determined by Apple, not by PlanToTrip. To request a refund:
- Visit Apple’s refund request page: https://support.apple.com/HT204084
- Or use the Report a Problem feature in your Apple account.
PlanToTrip cannot issue refunds directly. We will, however, assist with any technical issues that prevented you from using a paid feature — contact us at support@plantotrip.com.
For subscriptions (if any): no refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, consistent with Apple’s policy.
7. Price Changes
We may change the price of in-app purchases or subscriptions in future updates. Existing one-time purchases (such as Pro Lifetime) are unaffected by future price changes. For subscriptions (if any), Apple notifies you of price increases and requires re-confirmation per its standard subscription rules.
8. Tax
Prices listed in the App and on this page are exclusive of taxes where required by law. Applicable taxes are added by Apple at checkout based on your billing region.
